Rebecca Farber has been has been studying and teaching calligraphy in New York since 2005. After graduating from Cornell University in 2004 Rebecca moved to New York and began calligraphy studies at the Center for Book Arts, Cooper Union, and the Society of Scribes. Rebecca joined the board of the Society of Scribes in 2009, and in 2010 received a young adult scholarship for the Odyssey 30th Annual International Calligraphy Conference. From 2012 to 2013 Rebecca studied calligraphy full-time in the UK, receiving a professional certificate in calligraphy from the University of Sunderland. She returned to New York and completed the Type@Cooper extended program in typeface design. Most recently, Rebecca has been Director of Handwriting at Bond, Inc., a startup company focused on automating handwritten notes.
